Introduction
If you’re an employer planning to hire workers on an Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV), you’ll need to cover certain costs for accreditation, Job Checks, and renewing your accreditation. Below is a breakdown of the fees involved.
Accreditation Fees
The fee you pay for accreditation depends on the type of accreditation you need:
Standard Accreditation
For up to 5 migrant workers at one time, the fee is NZD $740.
If you wish to upgrade from standard to high-volume accreditation, the additional fee is NZD $480.
High-Volume Accreditation
For hiring 6 or more migrant workers at one time, the fee is NZD $1220.
Franchisee Accreditation
The fee for franchisees is NZD $1980.
Controlling Third Party Accreditation
If your business involves a controlling third party, the accreditation fee is NZD $3870.
Reconsideration Fee
If your accreditation application is declined, you can request a reconsideration of the decision for a fee of NZD $240.
Job Check Fees
Before hiring a migrant worker, you must get a Job Check approved. The fees are as follows:
Job Check Application Fee
The cost to apply for a Job Check is NZD $610.
Reconsideration Fee
If your Job Check is declined, you can ask for a reconsideration by paying NZD $240.
