Initial Consultation
Before beginning your visa application, we will have an initial chat in person, by phone or online video call regarding your plans, goals and current circumstances. This initial consultation will provide the necessary information for us to recommend your most relevant visa type.
During this time, you can ask any questions and share all concerns regarding your visa application process.
Signing Service Agreement
Should you wish to enlist ICL’s services following our initial consultation, we will sign an official service agreement. We don’t charge hourly and there are no additional fees to worry about.
Preparing Your Application
Once the agreement is signed by ICL and yourself, we begin to prepare your visa application. During this stage, we will review the latest requirements for your visa type, fill out any necessary forms and collect all supporting documentation for your application.
Submitting Your Application
With every piece of information, form and document required by the relevant government body compiled, we send off your visa application.
Get An Assigned Case Officer
Once your visa application is submitted, you will be assigned a dedicated case officer by Immigration New Zealand. They are responsible for handling your application and any complications, and we work consistently with them to ensure your visa application is successful.
Potential complications include the relevant regulatory body requesting further supporting documentation, such as additional proof of your financial abilities or flight bookings. Don’t worry, we’ll be present to help overcome any complications that arise.
Awaiting Decision
Once your visa application is submitted, you will generally wait a few months before a decision is reached. This can take 3-6 months or longer in select situations. If your application is successful, you may receive confirmation sooner. If any complications arise, your government-assigned case officer will work with us to achieve a positive outcome.
