What is the INZ 1146 Form?
The INZ 1146 form is designed to provide supporting information for a Partnership-Based Temporary Visa Application. Partners who are supporting an applicant for a temporary visa based on their relationship should complete this form.
Who Needs to Use This Form?
This form is for:
- Partners of New Zealand citizens or residence class visa holders.
- Partners of holders of work or student visas.
- Individuals entering New Zealand for a culturally arranged marriage.
The person applying for the temporary visa must also complete the Application for a Partnership-Based Temporary Entry Visa (INZ 1198).
Requirements for Partners/Intended Partners
The Guide for Partnership-Based Temporary Entry Applications (INZ 1199) provides more details about the requirements for partners or intended partners.
How to Complete the Form
- New Zealand citizens or residence class visa holders: Complete sections A to C. Only complete Section D if it applies to a culturally arranged marriage.
- Applicants for, or holders of, student or work visas: Complete sections A and B.
- All applicants: Complete Section E, the Declaration by person supporting an applicant under partnership-based temporary entry applications.
After completing the form, provide it with evidence/attachments to your partner or intended partner.
